Good luck to UCC Biomedical Sciences Society in antibiotics debate
26 January 2017
Cheer on an IBMS student affiliate society in a great debate.

The IBMS student affiliate society University College Cork Biomedical Sciences Society will go head - 2 - head in a debate with biomedical science students in NUI Galway.

The debate will be held on 30 January. The event will challenge university students as they debate the topic: ‘Antibiotic resistance will be the death of humanity’.

David Duggan, UCC Biomedical Sciences Society president explained,

‘We're holding it primarily as a means of establishing relations between Biomeds in different colleges and hopefully it can become a sort of annual thing, and maybe even include other colleges in the future.”

This event will be moderated and judged by the NUIG Philosophical society.

University College Cork Biomedical Sciences Society is one of nineteen IBMS student affiliate societies.

We wish UCC Biomedical Sciences Society luck in what should be an excellent competition.
