IBMS student society affiliation scheme

The IBMS student affiliation scheme offers the following benefits to student societies:

• Promotional items, literature and posters for society events • Help with sourcing speakers and sponsors for society events • Opportunities to input into IBMS guidance, careers advice and publicity materials aimed at students • Access to IBMS careers publications • Connection with local IBMS region and branch with opportunities for attending events and networking • Regional careers events free to attend for society members • Links with local employers • Promotion of society news and events • 10% discount for society members on IBMS eStudent membership

Last year we supported our affiliate societies in a variety of exciting ways, providing speakers for a number of student society events and co-producing a Natural Sciences Careers Expo with one of our affiliated societies.

Former President of the Middlesex University Natural Sciences Academic Society, Zeshan Ahmed, said that:

"Becoming an IBMS affiliated society was one of the best decisions I made to increase the profile and effectiveness of the Natural Sciences Academic Society”.
