Participate in the ISO15189:2012 survey

Members are encouraged to complete a survey related to ISO 15189:2012
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO)’s technical committee’s working group on quality and competence in the medical laboratory (ISO/TC 212/WG 1) is due to review the quality standard ISO15189:2012.
Sheila Woodcock, convenor for the ISO/TC212 WG1 commented, “At meetings of WG1 we have discussed the changes proposed to ISO17025, the normative reference for ISO15189, as well as changes in ISO9001:2015. Prior to the ballot taking place for the review, we would like to obtain information from users of ISO15189:2012.”
A survey has been developed and users working in laboratories, accreditation bodies and agencies and accreditation assessors are encouraged to participate, in addition to any professional who might have reason to use the standard.
This survey can be found online.
Feedback from the participants will be shared with the members of the ISO/TC212 WG1 and be consulted with the results of the review, to determine the extent of the revisions necessary to be made to the standard.
