IBMS Education Manager (Qualifications) Vacancy
A new full-time role has been created within the Institute’s Education Department which will utilise your specialist knowledge of biomedical science related areas to support IBMS members who require advice and information for all aspects of pre- and post-registration training, preparation for Institute examinations and CPD. The role will complement the Institute’s professional training, development and administration functions and support the Deputy Head of Education in respect of the delivery of the Institute’s education and training policies.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Deputy Head of Education, Head of Examinations and Education Manager (Processes) to ensure the smooth running of the busy and wide-ranging work of the Education Department. It is a varied role and would suit somebody who is a registered biomedical or clinical scientist looking to step across into the development and provision of the IBMS’s routes to registration and our portfolio of qualifications.
We are looking for someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about the profession, able to focus on the challenges facing our members and those studying for qualifications with us, is able to work autonomously and as part of a team and willing to travel nationwide.
